BIO
Matthew is originally from San Jose, California and graduated Chapman University in 2016 majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Leadership Studies. He was recently named a Slingshot Fellow and is deeply interested in philanthropy. Currently, Matthew serves as the Director of Youth Engagement at Temple Bat Yahm in Newport as well as the Summer Assistant Director at URJ Camp Newman. Matthew would not be the person he is today without his 17 summers spent at URJ Camp Newman. In addition, he serves as the Executive Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of The Hillel Foundation of Orange County. While in college he served on Hillel International’s Student Cabinet.
