San Francisco Hillel (SF Hillel) provides inclusive, innovative, and fun Jewish experiences and programs for college and graduate students across San Francisco. With vibrant student communities at SF State, USF, UC Law SF, and UCSF, our professionals mentor students of all Jewish backgrounds as they author their adult identities and launch their careers. We envision a world where every student is inspired to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, values and learning, and to develop a thoughtful, meaningful connection to Israel. To deliver on this vision, SF Hillel focuses on four pillars: Jewish Identity Exploration, Jewish Community Building, Jewish Future Leadership Development, and Jewish Student Support.
The Assistant Director leads SF Hillel’s Student Life Team, a team of student engagement professionals who cultivate Jewish life on our four base campuses. The Assistant Director is responsible for driving the student experience across our four base campuses and additional ancillary schools through data-driven strategy, engagement with campus and community partners, and inspirational support for the Student Life Team.
As an Assistant Director at SF Hillel, you will be at the forefront of the Jewish community in one of the most exciting cities in the world.
