BIO
I am a catalyst for change. My involvement has been in the high-tech business sector as well as in the public benefit sector, with an emphasis on creating alignment and synergy within/among teams, leading to breakthrough results.
My most exciting work has consisted of transforming the diversity of teams and communities from a source of conflict and delay to a source of community, creativity and breakthrough results.
In the public benefit sector, I have also served on boards and done fundraising, consulting, recruiting and developing volunteers, strategic planning, and launching and leading strategic teams and projects. The focus of my community organizing work has been the empowerment of people thru connection and engagement to reduce inequalities and the persistence of poverty.
Ultimately, I am committed to making available to humanity the capacity to powerfully work together, across culture and distance, to address the ever-increasing complexity of the challenges we face as humanity, thereby creating a world that works for everybody, with nobody left out.
I find I have some ability to foresee what is next and have dedicated myself to being a transformational catalyst in moving humanity to the next level of effectiveness. It’s my calling and what I have given my life to.
The goal of Augmenting Collective Intelligence (ACI) speaks to my network partners and me. ACI is an unrealized vision of Internet pioneer Douglas Engelbart from the ’70s that points toward a key pathway that can enable humanity to solve its most pressing problems, most noteworthy among them the climate emergency facing us all.
This work will define a process or methodology for building the principles of robust networks into the DNA of any network This undertaking, of making ACI available to humanity, is a worthy quest to champion.
