Why J Leaders?
I feel more involved in the Jewish Community than many of my peers and I wish more people my age had a connection to other Jews their age. J Leaders appeals to a wide range of young Jewish backgrounds and possesses the added value of leadership development as part of the program. I hope to be part of a growing Jewish Young Adult movement, starting with partnering with J Leaders.
BIO
Lauren was born and raised in Sacramento, California and is the oldest of four children. She loves working with kids, event planning, Jewish history, swimming, video games, and cooking. She graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in Economics and Judaic Studies. During her time at Michigan, Lauren enjoyed volunteering with Hillel as the Religious Life Coordinator for the Reform Community. Now, she is very excited to see how JLeaders evolves as she spends time as a volunteer. Lauren has been fortunate to continue exploring her passion for Judaism in the Bay Area’s vibrant Jewish professional space.
