The J Leaders Community Organization Partnership Program is designed to help synagogues and Jewish non-profit organizations in the SF Bay Area increase engagement with Jewish young adults using their current resources. J Leaders wants to make it easier for Jewish organizations to successfully empower Jewish young adults, build a vibrant community, and create a strong foundation for future leadership.

What is the process for customizing the program to fit our needs?
Leaders offers a portfolio of personal and professional leadership development opportunities for Jewish young adults. We encourage you to select the programs that best fit the needs of your organization. Many of J Leaders programs run on an annual recruiting and implementation cycle. Let us know the programs that interest you, and we’ll customize a program that meets your synagogue or organization’s objectives.

What is the J Leaders Young Adult Community?
J Leaders Jewish young adult and program alumni are part of a vibrant community with additional networking and professional development opportunities. J Leaders alumni programs include the 6-month JMentors program, Fireside Chats with Jewish business and community leaders, J Leaders Shabbat dinners, leadership roles on J Leaders National Council and Academy steering committee, and board roles on Jewish community organizations (JBoardMatch).

Can organizations located outside of the SF Bay Area participate in the program?
J Leaders programs can be customized and adapted for communities outside the SF Bay Area. In order to create a large enough connected community of Jewish young adults, we’d recommend a partnership with a area-wide organization or a consortium of multiple Jewish organizations.
