Serving on Jewish Nonprofit Boards

A Leadership Workshop with Shelby Zitelman

Elevate Your Impact. Lead from the Board.

Join JLeaders for an exclusive professional development workshop featuring entrepreneur and community leader Shelby Zitelman. Discover how to leverage your professional skills to strengthen the Jewish community through effective board service.

Transitioning from a community member to a community leader often happens in the boardroom. But how do you find the right fit? What are the actual responsibilities of a board member? And how do you ensure your voice is heard?

In this interactive workshop, we will demystify the world of Jewish nonprofit governance. Whether you are looking for your first board seat or seeking to be more effective in your current role, this session will provide the roadmap you need.

Led by Shelby Zitelman, the Sr. VP of Business Development at Zitelman Partners, and co-founder of Soom Foods. Among other things, she is involved in her local Jewish Federation, a Board member of the Jewish Relief Agency and involved in her synagogue and boys’ elementary school.

During the session, Shelby will share how she got involved with these various organizations, her role in each and what she has learned along the way.

Date: Wednesday – July 8
Time: 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET (workshop will run for an hour)
