The Impact of Cultivating Hope on the Jewish Community

In the wake of October 7th, a date seared into the collective consciousness of the Jewish community, the reverberations of tragedy have echoed far and wide. Waves of emotion swept through the hearts and minds of young Jewish adults as they cope with newfound anxieties and seek solace in an uncertain world.

In all the uncertainty, we sparked a call to unify and empower Jewish young adults. The J Leaders alumni community produced “Cultivating Hope in a Post-October 7 World” on February 25th, 2024. The conference stood as a testament to the resilience of the Jewish spirit.

J Leaders at Z3 – Applying Jewish Wisdom to a Post October 7th World

On November 5th, 2023, J Leaders Academy alumni attended the Z3 Conference in Palo Alto, which discussed the interaction between the Jewish diaspora and Israel. The conference was both uplifting and intense. J Leaders Reunite in Israel: A Story of Serendipity and Connection

A J Leaders alumni and I planned to make the trek to the Holy Land together for a friend’s wedding. What we didn’t expect was the serendipity of meeting up with other J Leaders alumni in Israel, 7000 miles from home. Our plans included traveling around Israel to Caesarea, the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, and even a trek out to Petra, Jordan. The entire trip brought together J Leaders, Israel, our Jewish heritage, and good friends… all in a spontaneous way.
